Columbus Giveaways

Giveaways are open to legal residents of the United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry, unless otherwise specified.

Employees of Visit Columbus, participating prize partners, and organizations directly involved in the administration or promotion of the giveaway, as well as members of their immediate households, are not eligible to enter.

Giveaways are sponsored by Visit Columbus, Columbus, Indiana, unless an individual giveaway identifies an additional or different sponsor.

Each giveaway will have a designated start date and end date listed on the individual giveaway. Entries must be received during the stated giveaway period to be eligible.

Entries received before or after the giveaway period will not be considered.

To enter, complete and submit the official entry form provided on the applicable Visit Columbus giveaway page.

No purchase is necessary to enter or win.

Unless otherwise stated, entries are limited to one entry per person per giveaway. Duplicate or incomplete entries may be disqualified.

The prize or prizes available for each giveaway will be described on the individual giveaway page.

Prizes have no cash value and may not be exchanged for cash. Prizes are nontransferable unless otherwise approved by Visit Columbus.

Visit Columbus reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable for reasons outside of its control.

Unless specifically included in the prize description, transportation, lodging, meals, parking, incidental expenses, and other costs associated with accepting or using the prize are the responsibility of the winner.

Winner(s) will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the giveaway period.

The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

For giveaways involving tickets to an event, attraction, performance, or sporting event, dates and availability may be subject to change.

When entrants are asked to provide a preferred event or game date, that selection is considered a preference and is not guaranteed unless specifically stated.

Visit Columbus is not responsible for event cancellations, postponements, schedule changes, venue policies, or other circumstances outside of its control.

Winners are responsible for any federal, state, or local taxes associated with accepting a prize, as well as any expenses not specifically included in the prize description.

By entering a giveaway, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Giveaway Rules and by the decisions of Visit Columbus regarding the administration of the giveaway.

Visit Columbus reserves the right to disqualify entries that violate these rules or interfere with the fair administration of the giveaway.

By entering, participants agree to release and hold harmless Visit Columbus, participating prize partners, and their respective employees, officers, representatives, and agents from claims arising from participation in the giveaway or the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of a prize, except where prohibited by law.

Visit Columbus reserves the right to cancel, suspend, modify, or terminate a giveaway if circumstances beyond its reasonable control affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper operation of the giveaway.

Information collected through giveaway entry forms will be handled in accordance with the Visit Columbus Privacy Policy.

Entering a giveaway does not automatically subscribe an entrant to Visit Columbus marketing communications unless the entrant separately chooses to subscribe.

When a giveaway is promoted through Facebook, Instagram, or another social media platform, the giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with that platform unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Entrants release the applicable social media platform from responsibility associated with the giveaway.

All applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply.

Visit Columbus reserves the right to interpret these rules and make decisions regarding eligibility, winner selection, prize fulfillment, and other matters related to the giveaway.
